This should get out to schools!

You must watch it, it’s inspiring, especially for minorities.

It’s a great way to hear about what astronomy can be as a career.

It shows just how cool astronomy is

The movie is great and should be played in every 100 level class in astronomy

Good examples of NASA’s efforts towards diversity& makes a difference in people’s lives

It’s awesome and I plan to use it as part of outreach in my local community

This movie is a great lay out of African-Americans in Astronomy

See it wherever you have the opportunity

I will remember the HOPE I felt as an African American mother of young twin boys, that my sons can have a bright future and be what they want.

This video is very important to motivating minority students to pursue an interest in science and letting folks know about the important contributions minorities have made to the field of science.

I Loved seeing all of the people of color talking about science

It’s a must see!

Astronomy is for Everyone! It is a great awareness movie of how space studies are approachable

I would exhort my nieces and nephews to consider astronomy/astrophysics as a career. Thank You!

What an excellent way to encourage students to excel in math and science

I will remember the stories because they remind me of me and where I came from. It is a must see especially for kids.

It is encouraging about the future of diversity in science.

Great for inspiration!

I enjoyed hearing the paths people had followed – their backgrounds and how they had handled challenges. Hearing from the female astronomers too – We have faced similar challenges.

The Discovery Channel needs this

Good for encouraging ALL students to trust instructors of color

Hubble's Diverse Universe presents the research of African American and Hispanic American astronomers & astrophysicists.

The title refers to the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), the diversity of celestial worlds explored by HST, and the ethnic diversity found among astronomers & astrophysicists. The film is a tribute to the Hubble Space Telescope but includes a glimpse into the lives of minority astronomers in the United States. The film includes the challenges faced by these minority scientists both good and bad and their pathways to success. The film is a riveting window into the interplay between underrepresented minorities, science, and technology. The film was funded by NASA Education and Public Outreach Grant # HST-EO-11751.03-A and the International Year of Astronomy 2009 USA - Cultural Astronomy and Storytelling.
